Children who complete schooling are not always able to pursue further education. Some of them need to acquire some skills to help them earn their livelihood. The tailoring department was established on a small scale because there were no funds for buying the sewing machines and employing the trainers. However, God has graced this project through his servants, John and Marilyn Parker from the Noroton Presbyterian Church. They have helped purchase more sewing machines and Mrs. Marilyn Parker worked with a class of young people from the community and from our own congregations.Three local women trained with Mrs. Parker and they are now making school uniforms and bags for the children. The program is currently looking for ways to expand further into the community by making and selling uniforms to local schools.
